Phoenix sun is brutal on exterior paint. The difference between a finish that lasts and one that fades and peels in two years is prep and the right product. We pressure-wash, scrape and sand failing areas, repair and caulk, then prime bare and patched spots before applying a quality, fade-resistant exterior coating rated for our climate.
What's included
- Pressure-washing to remove dust, chalking, and loose paint
- Scraping and sanding failing paint; repairing stucco cracks
- Caulking gaps around trim, windows, and joints
- Priming bare and repaired surfaces
- Quality exterior coating rated for Arizona UV and heat
- Trim, fascia, soffits, garage and front doors as needed
Built for the desert
We use premium exterior acrylic and masonry coatings made to resist fading, chalking, and cracking in intense sun. On stucco, an elastomeric or masonry product can bridge hairline cracks and shed water. We also paint in the right conditions, chasing the shade around the house and avoiding application on surfaces that are too hot, which is just as important as the paint itself.
Best time to paint in Phoenix
The cooler months, roughly October through April, are ideal for exterior work because surface temperatures stay in range and the coating cures properly. We can paint in summer too, but we plan around the heat and the afternoon. We will tell you honestly what timing makes sense for your project.
FAQ
How often should I repaint my exterior? +
In Phoenix, exterior paint typically lasts around 7 to 10 years, less on sun-blasted south and west walls. Good prep and quality coatings push that longer.
Can you match my current color? +
Yes. We can match your existing color or help you pick something new, including HOA-approved palettes if your neighborhood requires them.
Do you repair stucco cracks? +
Yes. We repair hairline and larger stucco cracks as part of prep so they do not telegraph through the new finish. Larger repairs fall under our drywall & stucco service.
How long does an exterior take? +
Most single-story homes run a few days to a week depending on size, surface condition, and how much repair is needed. We give you a realistic timeline with the estimate.
